After seeing an unforgettable performance by the Blue Man Group, I became inspired to start playing the drums at 10 years old. I participated in every school ensemble possible throughout elementary school, middle school, and high school including jazz band, marching band, pit orchestra, jazz combo, concert band, and a blues/rock band outside of school that regularly performed around southern New Jersey and Philadelphia. Since 2008, I have performed live on over 200 occasions around the mid Atlantic and New England regions.In 2014, I graduated from Berklee College of Music summa cum laude with focuses on Music Business and Drum Set Performance.I currently play drums with Vitamin Sun, a progressive/alternative/indie band located in Boston, and GEPH, a progressive/metal/jazz instrumental trio also located in Boston. I have a patient, relaxed teaching style but I'm always ready and willing to push the student as far as they want to go, encouraging them to try their best. I began teaching as soon as I could. My dad held piano lessons out of our house and inspired me to teach guitar (the only instrument my dad wasn't terribly good at). I also taught trumpet, French horn and piano throughout high school. When I got to college, no one at Berklee really needed lessons in instruments anymore, however, I spent a lot of time tutoring kids in Music Theory, Arranging and other more technical aspects of music. I have played in venues from small coffee houses to The Paramount in Huntington, NY.  I have played in many groups and ensembles as a premier performer and, of course, as part of the "tutti".  I have studied under Micheal Bellajonas at Suffolk County Community College and Jerry Willard at Stony Brook University in my classical guitar studies.  I maintain a violin/guitar duet with my wife, who is on her way to becoming a music educator.  I've taught all different types of students and am very open and patient to everyone's needs.
