Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I started playing at about the age of three. I had several family memeber who played semi-professionally part time. I would accompany them to rehearsals and gigs. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. I also make myself available to all students at anytime for questions during their practice. I have a system of teaching jazz improvisation that ensures that every student can play and read changes. I was also foreign faculty at the College of the Bahamas in Nassau, New Providence, where I taught concert band, flute, clarinet, guitar, Music History, vocal techinques and World Music. I studied piano with renowned jazz pianist, Ray Santisi, at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and with international performer and accompanist, Phillip Moll. Also a student of world-famous flutists James Galway, Julius Baker and Jean-Pierre Rampal, I have been teaching music since 1974, in addition to performing professionally throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. IN THE PRESENT TIME I ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO PRACTICE 15 MINUTES A DAY INSTEAD OF THE LONG-GATED 1 HOUR PRACTICE.
