I’m a great listener as I pointed out earlier. My musical strength has always been my ear. I’ve learned all major and minor scales with arpeggios through schooling and that’s great knowledge to have. I focus my teaching technique on scales and arpeggios to show that music heavily comprises of these fundamental elements. I emphasize the importance of developing good technique and a fundamental understanding of the basic components of music: major and minor scales, arpeggios, chords, modes and chord progressions.
