Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

From a young age I have been an active teacher. Advanced for my age I vividly remember tutoring my classmates in the Fourth grade. Throughout the rest of my schooling I served in some sort of volunteer tutor capacity, helping classmates and younger students. While in undergrad at DePauw University I served as an Orientation/First-Year Seminar Mentor, helping first year students adjust to campus academic and social life. In doing so, in-depth understanding of the text in the song will be discussed in order to articulate the text with good phrasing and direction. For a clarinet student, I will generally warm up with breathing techniques and proper embouchures to produce good tone. I am a high-energy, working professional singer with 15+ years of performance experience and 10+ years of vocal teaching/coaching at your service! I received a Masters of Music in Voice from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and a Bachelors of Music from DePauw University. Classically trained and now singing as the female lead of a regional wedding band 2-5 nights a week. During my time at DePauw, I spent time in China singing with a chamber choir, a summer singing with an opera company in Novafeltria, Italy, and a semester studying at the conservatory in Milan, Italy.
