I design my own curriculum for all of my voice students, which usually comprises of basic piano and theory skills and vocal technique.  Dependent upon the students interest level and personal goals, I determine the extent of the materials and the pace of the lessons.  Since I only teach beginner piano for children and teens, I usually stick to the basic beginner books (i.e. Hal Leonard or John Thompson) and slowly Incorporate solo repertoire.    Read More

My methodological procedures are determined solely on the level of the student and their performance ability. Oftentimes I tailor lessons that ive created in my past to create lesson plans for individual students. I oftentimes use action research methods in helping me determine whether or not the teaching method that is being used in the lesson is effective for the student receiving lessons.
