I acquired severalstudents my last year of my undergrad and my studio grew in to myMaster's. I find the most rewarding thing about teaching music is the spark that ignites in each individual student to blossom into a musician. The importance of each student is reflected in individual curriculum designed or each student. I believe in the idea that no student is the same. I am an experienced music teacher with a background in rock, blues, and folk music. As a self-taught guitarist, drummer, and harmonica player, I have years of experience both teaching and performing music. After studying classical guitar, voice, and music education at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, I graduated from Appalachian State university with a master's in guitar performance in August of 2022. When I think about a student learning wintry to put myself in there shoes. They want to feel like they have something to show for the time that they were the class session. . if we have an hour session and at the end of the session they can go out and show off what they learned then they will. It be as motivated to come back....
