After receiving her Bachelor’s degree, she moved to Cincinnati to continue her studies with a Graduate Incentive Award Scholarship. She completed with a Masters of Music as well as an Artist Diploma at University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music under Dr. Catharine Lees and Mr. Masao Kawasaki. I move at a very quick pace, but I have my students set their own goals. While I will select the literature for the student, I want them to feel successful when they are working with me. I want students to be confident and successful, so I will do anything in my power to help them learn good technique and practice habits. My goal is to provide efficiency in violin practicing and using technical tools to help deliver musical ideas with precision. I use a variety of methods and techniques. I have training in the Suzuki Method, as well as more traditional methods of violin instruction. In my lessons knowing scales and arpeggios will be important. I also teach about keys and time signatures early on. Though I use the suzuki method, some of the time, reading music is also taught early on in the lessons, depending on the age of the student. Read More
