I was born in Moscow, Russia, and moved to the United States as a child in the early 1970's. He studied violin and music composition at the New England Conservatory, Interlochen Arts Academy, the Tanglewood Institute, and Northwestern University. I have over 30 years of experience teaching and performing, playing concert halls such as Vienna's Musikverein and Boston's Symphony Hall. I am currently based in Los Angeles, California. I was very active in chamber music performance. I was a founding member of the University Faculty Chamber Music Ensemble, the Oxford Piano Trio, as well as the baroque music trio, Heinekens Circle. I graduated from the University of Redlands in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, and played in the University's orchestra and various chamber groups while studying there.
