The most rewarding feeling is when a student of mine feels a passion for the music they are learning. They are passionate usually because they are succeeding. Therefore I make it a mission of mine to set realistic goals for each student at each lesson. I was encouraged to tutor other classmates and friends who were having difficulty on the violin, as well as viola. My greatest accomplishment from tutoring was named, "Most Valuable Player" by my orchestra teacher my graduating year in 2019. I'm currently a graduate assistant at UGA. I am principal violist of the University of Georgia Symphony Orchestra and violist of the Hodgson String Trio. I am also an orchestral instructor for the UGA String Project. I have performed in several orchestras in the southeast United States including the Bryan Symphony, Owensboro Philarmonic, Augusta Symphony, Oak Ridge Symphony, and Albany Symphony Orchestras.
