Beginning the violin when I was 4 years old, I don’t remember a time when I was not playing music. Although my main job is now editing, I am happiest when playing in ensembles. Some high points were performing onstage with Yo Yo Ma with the Fredonia College Symphony Orchestra and playing an entertainment venue with a ukulele star from one of French Polynesia's preeminent folk groups. During my lessons, I also do a lot of mirroring (showing how I play a certain passage with my instrument) so that they can visualize the proper implementation of a passage. Read More
