I use a variety of methods and techniques. I have training in the Suzuki Method, as well as more traditional methods of violin instruction. In my lessons knowing scales and arpeggios will be important. I also teach about keys and time signatures early on. My teaching experience started in Music Collage,where teaching of school age students was part of curriculum .After graduation from Kiev Conservatory I taught individual violin and viola lessons at Kiev Music School #10 for Gifted Children. Shortly after immigrating to the United States I joined the teaching staff of the Notre Dame School of Music,where I served as a violin teacher for 5 years. For all of my beginning students I use the Suzuki method. I am a very fast paced teacher, and I hold all of my students to high standards. As my students get into more advanced music, I select solo literature that best fits their musical abilities.
