During the years of my undergraduate studies I participated in several projects with the emphasis on teaching pedagogy and performance. I was involved in a string project at Sacramento State University, where I had the opportunity to learn effective pedagogical methods in academic and performance spheres, and incorporate them in my practices working with teenage musicians. I have recorded and released three projects so far that have received radio play internationally and been on the charts on college public radio. When I was in elementary school I found out that reading comprehension was difficult for me and so I had to get tutoring. I was very strong in music and that boosted my confidence in school. In junior high and high school I was selected to play for the Junior Pacific Symphony Orchestra, received scholarships to music summer camps, and was selected musician of the year.
