I have played the violin since I was 8 years old in school orchestras and small ensembles. I have also learned Irish traditional music in Ireland, from the Irish in music sessions and in more formal school settings. I spent 9 months there obtaining a Masters in Ethnomusicology. My teaching experience started in Music Collage,where teaching of school age students was part of curriculum .After graduation from Kiev Conservatory I taught individual violin and viola lessons at Kiev Music School #10 for Gifted Children. Shortly after immigrating to the United States I joined the teaching staff of the Notre Dame School of Music,where I served as a violin teacher for 5 years.
