I ask to keep track ofwhat you worked on, how it felt, how much time you spent on each subject, questions or interests it brought up, and goals you wish to strive for. This is a routine that I've found very helpfull for musicians of all ages and expeience levels. Without motivation from early teachers I would not have obtained my love and value of music. For me, teaching is a great way to give back to the community and to share music with others. It is such a special thing to be able to create with sounds and to develop confidence with an instrument. I graduated FSU with a BA in music, focusing on education. I have taught private music lessons, since I was at Youngstown State University. I also assisted marching band camps over the summer time, at various high schools. I continue teaching private music lessons, to this day at my current job and online. I have recently taught, clarinet, piano, saxophone, violin, trumpet, trombone, as well as music recording online and in person.
