Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

For the last 2 years I have been teaching private lessons at an elementary school and have been teaching group lessons when asked. During the fall I also have been a low brass technician for a local marching band. Finally I have played in many pit performances for local high schools. These opportunities have taught me a lot about being a teacher and a musician. As much as possible, I want my students to guide the direction of their lessons and their growth as musicians. Helping students to set realistic goals and then providing the tools needed to achieve those goals are key components to my teaching philosophy. I love seeing a students eyes light up when they get excited about music or figure our that they can now do something they were not able to do before. Therefore, I am a big proponent of encouraging and not being too critical.
