I am a musician with a passion for sharing my craft with others. I have an extensive background in instrumental music and music production. Violin is my primary instrument, but I am also proficient in many other string and percussion instruments. I have prior classroom teaching experience at the high school level, where I also directed and conducted musicals. For 12 years I performed with the National Tango Orchestra of Buenos Aires (Latin Grammy 2015). Now I’m collaborating and performing with major Tango Maestros in concerts, festivals, tours and recordings as well as in chamber music settings and I'm working on my major pedagogy project called "The Inner Musician"('18 MC Award). I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I maintain an active career as an orchestral, chamber, and freelance musician. In addition to performing regularly as a guest violist at the San Diego Symphony Orchestra and Pacific Symphony, I held a section position in the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, and served as principal of the Verbier (Switzerland) and Lake George (New York) Music Festival Orchestras and PRISMA Academy Orchestra (Canada.) I began teaching private violin and viola lessons in 2012, and I greatly enjoy working with my students. They range in age from 3 1/2 to adult, and each one has been unique. After beginning lessons with my first student, teaching a semester of music theory, and teaching a summer camp, I became interested in Suzuki methodology and pedagogy. I find that for younger students especially, this method allows for more parent involvement at an age when many parents want to be more involved, and many children equally appreciate this involvement.
