I'm a Performer, Composer and Music Instructor based in NYC. In 2016 I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music with a BM in Performance, and in May 2018 I graduated Magna Cum Laude with an MM in Jazz Performance. I have performed all over the world in places such as Boston, NYC, Washington DC, Denver, Puerto Rico, Spain, Italy and Ecuador. When teaching classical piano, I use technique books like Hanon, Pischna for advanced beginners and intermediate. Material can range from Bach, Beethoven, Schumann etc. Contemporary methods usually from an approved song book or possibly a show tune. All students will learn from the previously method technique books. Beginners we will use some method book like Alfred or something similar. Guitar: Mel bay or something for sight reading. I started teaching music back in 2010 when a family at my local church asked if I would teach their son. I fell in love with teaching. It was another avenue to share the wonderful experience and gift of music. All of my students have been referred by other students or friends.
