Throughout grade school and high school I have rearranged parts for band teachers. In 2016, I graduated from Valor Christian College with a degree in Music while directing the youth band of a 4,000 member church. I then began my studies at Berklee College of Music where I learned enhanced theory. Upon finishing that I will be obtaining my Master’s in Music as well as a second Bachelors in counseling where I have learned an array of communication and teaching skills for implementing core values. After receiving an Arts Leadership certificate from Eastman in addition to my BM, I am a huge advocate for music in society and believe it is a universal language that anyone should have access to, no matter age, ability, etc. I want my students to feel empowered and believe that they have a place in the world of music, because there is room for everyone!
