For beginners I usually start with Mel Bay Guitar Method, Book One or Hal Leonard Guitar Method One. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. I also teach hour-long group vocal classes seasonally. On average, I teach around 30 lessons a week, mostly 30/45 minute sessions, and several hour long sessions in addition to my group classes. The majority of my instruction takes place over FaceTime/Zoom, or in the student’s home. I just recently moved back to my home of Colorado from New York City.
