I am very patient with my students. I stay positive and encourage their improvements. I review material that they are having trouble with and encourage them to keep trying. I make sure they are progressing in their book at a pace that works for them so they will continue to learn but not get overwhelmed. I encourage them to practice because that will help them improve faster and try to find music they will enjoy playing that will make them want to practice. Read More

I have been teaching private piano for the last 15 years at my home and in a music studio and have watched some of my students grow up and still are musicians today. Read More

For younger students a combination or aural learning and written learning are great ways to help them engage and keep an interest. Read More

By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs.. Read More
