I am very patient with my students. I stay positive and encourage their improvements. I review material that they are having trouble with and encourage them to keep trying. I make sure they are progressing in their book at a pace that works for them so they will continue to learn but not get overwhelmed. I find great satisfaction and enjoyment working with music students of all ages and ability levels. The reward comes from seeing the development of a student to the point where they are accomplishing wonderful things with their musical ability. I graduated from BYU in 1989, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education. I have been fortunate to perform with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Minnesota Mormon Chorale.
