Alysha S is a classically trained vocalist who performs and teaches all styles of singing, specializing in classical, jazz, folk, pop, soul, and world music. She is also a hand percussionist and percussion teacher. In addition to these instruments, she plays guitar, mandolin, mountain dulcimer, and she makes electronic music with Ableton Live. For all instruments, I teach students to utilize ALL resources available to them, such as the Internet for finding sheet music with specific websites, YouTube for instructional videos and karaoke, tablets and phones for metronomes and tuners, and different ways to learn music through all of their technological devices that go beyond typical music notation.
