My teaching style may vary depending upon the student. I have several books and other teaching material available for my students. These include: Berkley Music Theory I and II, several Hal Leonard, and Fischer books and more! Lesson material will mostly depend upon the student's goals and current skill-set. EVERY lesson will consist of: assessing and tracking the student's skill-set, solidifying the student's goals along with my goals for the student, and creating a plan of action to follow in order to reach these goals. I strongly encourage my students to work at their own pace! If they are driven, I love setting goals and progressing fast! If students want to play simply for fun or leisure, I allow them to take the process at their own pace and simply enjoy learning music! I also love to acknowledge progress and accomplishments, while constantly working to be better and craft one's skill. My father was a high school choir director and my mother was an elementary school teacher. So from a young age I was taught the value of learning, teaching, and music. Throughout my career as a touring musician, I would routinely give masterclasses at high schools and universities on group singing, performance, the changing voice, and the business of music.
