Instruments: Violin

I started playing violin when I was 7. I've been with Musika since 2011 (while I was in college). I have experience teaching Suzuki method (violin) from young age kids to old students. I also have been teaching Suzuki Method (K-12) strings at a local arts school and also at a Korean community center. I am currently teaching music subject at school as well. I've also found that a combination of classical and modern pop music can go a long way in helping students enjoy the violin and motivate them to practice and continue to learn. Read More

My students learn to play by ear before reading music, but I implement note-reading early on so that they can also learn to sightread proficiently. For adults, I tailor the lessons according to the needs and interests of the student. Read More
