Alongside the Suzuki Method, I give each student the opportunity to choose a song or piece that they are passionate about learning. Some of my students learn fiddle and folk songs, while others learn video game music or songs from movies. As far as performance, I've taken my music to local farmers markets and all the way to Florida and Alabama! My first instrument was flute, and at the University of Toledo I studied classically under the training of Joel Tse, the first flute in the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. In addition to my studies with the classical flute, I additionally took three years of college-level piano, and a intensive class in Secondary Vocal methods. Read More
