I am currently doing field work each week working with younger students in classrooms at schools such as Saline Middle School and Ann Arbor STEAM. After a few months I decided I needed more strings to play with and purchased an electric guitar. My life changed that day. Every day after that for the next 4 years I practiced the guitar. By the time I graduated high school I was playing lead guitar in a cover band, and getting some attention in the local music scene.
