I have played guitar professionally for 15 years, first in the Maryland/DC metro area and for the past 8 years in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. This includes several bands of my own creation that have toured the region as well as dozens of substitute stints filling in for rock, jazz, blues, and pop groups. For beginning students, I like to start with a combination of the Suzuki method and Essential Elements. As the student progresses, I will introduce solo repertoire according to their level. For adults, I will start with basic musical training and then we will move on to a repertoire that the student is interested in learning. A singer/songwriter from New York, I graduated from Vassar College in 2020 with a degree in music, and moved to New Orleans to pursue a career in music education.
