I began teaching private lessons in 2019. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for student, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. If a student is not having fun in their lessons, then I am not doing my job! I have been teaching for more than 30 years, mostly in the public schools as well as privately. I have instructed large groups and ensembles, as well as smaller musical groups in and out of the public schools. I use the software program "Finale" in order to create the musical compositions that I prepare for my students. I always accompany my students on the piano. I graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in trombone performance from the Hartt School of Music, Theater, and Dance in 2018 and I am currently working on a masters degree at the Hartt School.
