I love to teach students music and help them grow both as people and musicians. In 2009, I graduated from Fresno Pacific University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education, and my primary instruments were violin, viola, and piano. After graduation, I continued to maintain my home studio where I taught individual lessons, and I also taught elementary orchestra for Chandler Unified. I began teaching privately at the age of 17, as a way to expand my knowledge and experience. Of the jobs I have and have had, teaching is by far my favorite. I feel that it not only helps my students to grow, but for me to grow as well. In 2012, I graduated from The Peabody Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin performance with Ms.Violaine Melancon. I also earned a Masters of Music degree in Violin performance/Peadagody with Mr.Herbert Greenberg in 2012. As students progress at his/her own pace I try to keep them moving forward with realistic goals and encouragement. One important consideration I keep in mind is choosing the right music for each student according to developing skill levels. If the music is to easy, a student could become bored and unchallenged. Should the music become to difficult too soon, the student may become discouraged. Having said that, I will allow the student to try some "challenging" music, and allow them to progress and work up to a new level of playing. Read More
