My teaching experience spans over 25 years and includes private instruction in piano, organ, violin, viola and composition. As an experienced classroom teacher, I have worked as an elementary/middle school teacher and 12 years teaching as an adjunct professor in several colleges and universities. The youngest student in my studio was 6 six years old, while the oldest was 83. It all starts from fundamentals such as having good posture, listening to correct intonations, and learning bow technique. I believe the more students play scales and etudes such as Kayser, Wolfhart, Kreutzer,and Suzuki, the better they would become as a musicians in the future. As the students master the basics and get to know their violins, we'll move on to more advanced topics such as music theory and music history giving them all the knowledge needed to play complex pieces within just a few years of holding their violins for the first time.
