I began teaching flute lessons when I was a senior in high school. Though these lessons were not true lessons, they helped me grow into the teacher that I now am today. I began to realize my love for teaching music when I would volunteer to assist my band director with the younger students. I find it equally important to be able to hear the notes that one can play on their instrument just like they can see the notes they can play in the process.
