Having studied piano performance in three different geographies (Azerbaijan, Norway, United States) with different teaching methods and approaches, I have been fortunate enough to have gained diverse performance skills which I incorporate into my individual teaching style. I've been teaching guitar for the past 12 years, and more recently bass, ukulele, piano/keys, voice, percussion and studio recording as well. I have taught students ranging from child to adult, as well as working for two years as a caretaker with mentally challenged and special needs individuals. My teaching experience started the last year of attending Heidelberg University when I was required to instruct a high school student drum lessons as part of my internship. After graduation in 1991 I had my first vocal student in my home. In 1995 is when I had my first experience teaching in a music store environment. The store was known as Howland's Music World and was there until 1997.
