Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. In 1975 I received a scholarship to study advanced studies on the musical field. I studied with the Teachers: L. Egrbida, J.S. Fraticelli, E. Frasson, A. Romero, and A. Daz. In 1980 I finished my musical studies at the Conservatory of Music of San Juan, Puerto Rico and graduated MAGNA CUM LAUDE, with specialization in Musical Education and Performing Arts. I can teach the fundamentals of bass playing and advanced technique, music theory, improvisation, sight reading, and music history. You will learn not only how to play the instrument proficiently, you will learn how the bass functions musically in a group as well. My teaching experience started by chance, a friend of mine asked me for lessons which I gave for free. I would never think teaching was such a fun and rewarding experience. For beginners I like to start with using John W. Schaum's Music book as well as helping them to learn basic music theory in order to be able to keep time and know how to read music. I help them to know their music scales so that they know them by heart when playing music.
