My favorite thing about teaching people about guitar and music in general is that Aha! moment when a student is able to understand a concept, or the excitement of finally being able to play a challenging passage or song. Because of this I like to set goals that I feel are within a student's ability level, but will still challenge them and ultimately lead to progression.
