Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. My teaching style is taught with expectations. Although I aim to move at the student's learning pace, it is important to hold accountability on the student's behalf when we're not instruction. Consistent practice will be necessary for growth and I like to check in with students 2 days before next lessons to ensure the material has been understood and reviewed. My sessions are casual and personable. As much as possible, I follow the student's preferences in regards to the pace and content of each lesson as well as song selection. I can slow down for students that need more practice or provide more lessons and practice for faster learners. Each lesson has a drawing, a finger exercise, and a strumming (rhythm) component. Depending on the student, other corollary information about the structure of music, music theory, and so on are imparted as the lessons proceed, often becoming mini-lessons in their own right.
