Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I am the conductor of the flute choir during the Mississippi Flute Festival every summer. I am currently 29 years old, hold a degree in flute performance from USM (Danilo Mezzadri, professor), a masters degree in wind conducting from the same institution (Thomas V. Fraschillo, professor), and a D.M.A. in orchestral conducting with Carlos Riazuelo at LSU with a minor in choral conducting (John Dickson, professor). I started teaching in 2009 in Mississippi. I taught 6th grade band (beginner), 7th grade band, and high school. I taught in Mississippi for 5 years and just recently moved to Tennessee. While teaching, I've given private lessons to some of my students after school and to some students who did not attend my school. My teaching style is fairly relaxed, a student needs to enjoy the lessons or we are really wasting our time. There is no reason for music lessons to be dreary, almost all of my students enjoy their lessons and have no problem coming back week after week to be challenged again.
