My methodological procedures are determined solely on the level of the student and their performance ability. Oftentimes I tailor lessons that ive created in my past to create lesson plans for individual students. I oftentimes use action research methods in helping me determine whether or not the teaching method that is being used in the lesson is effective for the student receiving lessons. I base my every teaching style according to what the individual student needs . Teaching a class of 60 students is much different than a one on one class. No two people are the same and so they should not be taught the same exact way. For ex. I began assisting teachers during high school for extra credit. It later became my job during Full Sail. I worked extensively with grades K-5 on reading, writing and math skills enrichment. When I graduated I started to see my joy was working with children and helping each individual get to their own "next level" and that is when I began teaching music privately. I encourage my students to enter competitions and recitals of which I help with the prep for and can conduct them there if need be.  Read More

I began teaching privately in 2012. I have worked with students from the very beginning who had no flute experience to very advanced students. I love teaching a diverse range of ages and abilities because I feel that we all have something very special that we bring to music. I have taught privately in one-on-one settings and also with many students at once in band classrooms.
