In college have had the opportunity to work as a music instructor to a studio with over 20 students on a weekly basis. The students ranged in age from 5 to 70. This gave me a good perspective on how to directly connect with each student to ensure that we are exploring the best concept of learning for the individual. My musical experience dates back almost 13 years. I first picked up drumsticks when I was 7 years old, and I haven't been able to put them down since! Throughout my career so far, I have performed in award winning wind ensembles both in high school, and as extra curricular ensembles, like the North Carolina Youth Wind Ensemble.
