Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I have been teaching private music lessons for more than 30 years at my home and at my student's homes. After I received my Master's degree I obtained my teaching certificate in vocal and instrumental music for grades K - 12. I taught vocal music for the Jersey City Board of Education and later I taught strings for the Kearny Board of Education. I began teaching lessons when I was in college five years ago, and have continued teaching in New Jersey. I do not yet have a home studio, but am willing to go straight to the student as well as conduct online lessons. I taught elementary and middle school music in the Oakland Public School District, and taught elementary general music at Sporting Hill Elementary School. Everyone learns differently, So I can't say that i have a certain teaching style. I change my style to match the students needs. Growing up with a learning disability I learned multiple ways to over come it and love to see my accomplishments show through my students. I began my teaching days informally when I was still a student at Fairport High School. Some family friends wanted to learn how to play saxophone, so I began teaching them. Next thing I knew, I had a small-time music studio in my parents' basement! I was teaching saxophone as well as jazz improvisation at that time. I have been making music for over 15 years on saxophone since I started in elementary school and havent stopped since. I graduated summa cum laude from William Paterson University in 2014 with a bachelor of music in music education with a concentration in saxophone performance.
