What is taught is dependant on what the student currently needs. Most beginners I work with are using the Essential Elements book that they use at school. For older students I will utilize what the student is working on in school as well as determining weak areas that need to be addressed, and the areas the student might want to focus on (classical technique, jazz theory and playing, etc.). I am a saxophonist originally from Wyoming, but am now located in the greater Dallas - Fort Worth area! I attended the University of Wyoming and received a bachelors in Saxophone Performance in 2016. I then attended the University of North Texas to pursue a masters degree in Jazz Performance (2019). I have also performed professionally with several bands as well over the past 30 years and currently.
