I have a deep and passionate love for all things music, whether it's teaching, performing, writing, or listening, and I love being able to share that with my students. I did my undergrad program at UMass Lowell and have achieved my Bachelors degree in Music Studies. I currently still attend the University, where I am striving to get my Masters degree in Music Teaching. I will share fun and efficient ways to practice so that you get immediate results. If desired, I also guarantee you will be playing a blues and improvising within a maximum of 6 weeks as long as you practice at least 10 minutes, three times a week.  You will have the option of playing along with recordings minus your part so that you can experience the joy of ensemble playing early on in the safety of your own home. I love creating small ensemble groups of students at similar levels and arranging concerts at regular intervals. I recently began registration with the Suzuki Association of the Americas, and am in the process of becoming a Suzuki certified teacher for Book 1. I find the Suzuki method extremely helpful for starting young students, however I also like to use other resources such as the Essential Elements book for beginners. I also want to focus heavily on note reading and sight reading at a younger age, so students have a solid foundation if and when they become members of orchestras or other ensembles. Read More

Having grown up in a musical family (with the only exception being my dad), I have learned first hand what it takes to be a successful teacher. Although I am in no way a master teacher, I have taught primarily younger individuals ranging from 10-13. My goal is never to rush the pupil, as easy as that may be at times.
