My teaching experience started after college I began teaching with public schools in 2006 and teaching independently in 2009 all ages. I love all genres of music and I motivate and encourage my students to explore music in that way. I love to have fun with teaching and competition so I encourage students who are interested in a performing career to perform live in talents shows , community events, family parties and gatherings so that they are able to have the experience amongst there peers and family. For every one of my beginning students who wants to start playing the guitar or singing, I will alway start them off the best and most knowlegable way I know how, which would be a beginners guide. I started with Hal Leonard's Essential book 1 when I first started learning, and I have always used Hal Leonard's Essential guides for my students.  If a student is an intermediate, I can find out where they're at and help them with any handicaps they may have, and point them in the right direction. ***Important note: I am able to teach online via SKYPE or FACETIME as well as in home or studio. I was a member of the University of Sonora choir for more than 4 years, always leading the tenor chords, helping them to achieve musicality and hearing all kinds of voices. I helped them with the piano to sing different voice melodies in different languages. When I graduated, I started to take private students, helping them with breathing and music lines. I have taught in a variety of settings including children through teens and adults, and children with disabilities, both online and in person, one-on-one and in groups. I started in 2014. I have found that the best method includes positive motivation, which includes both encouragement for what the student is doing successfully, and also pushing the student in areas where they may feel hesitant.
