I am a creative and nurturing instructor that possesses a Masters in Music Education and over a decade of practical experience. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University, and have enjoyed teaching at the collegiate level for the last several years. I played my first paid gig at age 11 on the accordion. As 2022 rolls by, I look back on 58 years of study, performance, writing and teaching. I am currently the musical director for the Monterey Comedy Improv. Ive worked in the theater, on stage, and in clubs most of my life. Eventually, students from the group classes started to seek me out for individual lessons and I was also invited to be the lead vocal coach for a singing competition called ETTV Top Stars held by ETTV America in 2017 as well as 2019. I also use Suzuki, Hal Leonard and Bastien piano materials. My specialty is popular, sacred, arias, jazz and folk music. I create diversity in my lessons and keep them fun and exciting.
