I graduated from Austin Peay State University in 2013 with a BS in Vocal Performance. I was in a world renowned children's choir back home in PR, called San Juan Children's Choir, for 10 years. My father even had a music studio in the house. I would watch my father’s band rehearse and listen to many of his music students’ lessons. I was always exposed to top musicians, as my family attended many concerts. I especially enjoyed meeting the musicians in the bands, since my Dad was their colleague.  While attaining my degree I had practicums on the elementary, middle school and did my student teaching at Cedar Ridge high school. I have a year of teaching Chorus in the Guilford public school system. I also have musical theater experience. I have also been singing in church my whole life and have held an interim minister of music position at East Belmont Church of God. Music has held a major position in my life since I was very young. I began composing music before I was in school. I began taking piano lessons when I was four years old.
