I'm a passionate instructor who loves teaching. I've been a musician since I was 6. I started playing piano, then moved on to percussion. By age 12, I played piano, drums and guitar fluently. I have always believed that music is a conversation between the musician and the audience, and the instrument is the interpreter. With this in mind, with any age, I start with a regular conversation. Knowing the passion, interest level, and motivation of the students helps me create a method of teaching that is specific to the individual. I also learn their experience and knowledge level. There are some not-so-fun things about learning music (practice schedules and repetition) but there are plenty of resources out there to help students stay interested and motivated.
