I have had a lifetime of performing, recording, teaching music! I studied piano, then violin, then became a singer songwriter in the 80's and 90's. I have performed at weddings, bars, nightclubs, conferences and churches. I began teaching in the 2000's and have enjoyed passing on the skills and the experience of learning music to my students. I have sung in choirs for thirty years. Over that time, I also performed in several musical plays, and took about 22 college course units in music covering piano, guitar, singing, and musicianship. I took singing lessons with Dr. Ron Shaheen over a five year period. My day job is Mandarin interpreter, and I have time enough to develop as a musician when that work is completed.
