Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I started teaching voice and piano lessons while I was a student at Wartburg College. I continued teaching when I moved to New Mexico and I now have ten years of studio teaching experience. After completing my Master's Degree in Vocal Performance, I returned to UNM to attain a New Mexico Teaching License. I have been teaching elementary music in the public schools for five years since attaining that license. Read More

Edward is a lead tenor who has performed roles ranging from The Mayor, in "Bye, Bye, Birdie" to Adonis, in John Blow's baroque opera, "Venus & Adonis". As a flutist, his repertoire ranges from early music to that of living and contemporary composers, and he has taught private students and classes at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp(MI), the Oberlin(OH) City Schools, the Avon(OH) Public Schools, and the Livonia(MI) Public Schools. Every student is different and has different dreams, needs and goals. So, my teaching style relies heavily on communicating with my students and their parents, if applicable. My first lesson is focused on setting goals for yourself and unearthing musical dreams and ideas. The following lessons are about hitting that goal as soon as possible. Once that goal is hit, I set another goal with you, and so on. I keep an eye on making sure you get the essentials (notes, finger placement, posture, good habits, etc.) and incorporate the things you are needing or missing into our goals. Read More

I first started teaching guitar in high school after i got a few lessons from someone i looked up to in high school. From then on i have loved to teach music to all ages!. My longest student started at 12 and by time he was 17 years old i told him he would be having to teach me a few things soon. we became friends and were in a band together for a while until i moved south, i loved having that connection, and i hope to find plenty others like that. it makes me feel good knowing others are gaining from my teaching so i do my very best!
