Hello, I love both music, the violin, and working with children of all ages! I recently graduated with a Master's degree in violin pedagogy and moved to Pasadena, CA. While I am trained as a classical violinist with an undergraduate degree in violin performance, I also was privileged to work with the bluegrass fiddler/songwriter Becky Buller for several years along with performing bluegrass music with my family (I am the oldest of 9 children and we all play the violin along with many other instruments and play and sing together). I have been insfluenced and surrounded with music since childhood. I have experience in multiple aspects of music from performance to teaching and just about everything in between. I love working with students to achieve their goals. The most rewarding feeling for me is when my student feels they've accomplished a technique or method on their respective instrument. I strive to keep lessons joyous yet keep the student motivated to practice at home. Read More

I love seeing the student become interested in the violin. Each student is different and I try to understand each by asking questions and answering questions that they may have. I try to make each as comfortable as possible while playing the violin. I also try to convey my fascination and love of the instrument by performing my best for them during lessons. I strive to develop each students personal style and strengths while working on their weaknesses. Read More

I am an instructor who emphasizes student success, happiness, fulfillment and result. I understand that some students have different wants, needs and priorities when it comes to music education and I am ready to cater to all student types! Read More
