Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. In my experience, I've found that the Suzuki Violin method books work very well for private lessons but can teach other methods. I have a degree in violin performance and play the piano as well. In working towards that, I help create plans and goals that the student would be able to achieve, especially with personal practice. I use the Suzuki Method throughout my teaching process. I think it is a great bases for teaching the techniques necessary to master the violin/viola. I also use various scale books (according to level) to teach note reading, sight reading, and basic music theory.
