Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I began teaching lessons in college when I was in a piano pedagogy class. At that time, I also began teaching private band and string instruments. I had a student teaching experience where I was able to teach band instruments with students in grades 5-8. After that experience I accepted a job in North Carolina as an orchestra director. I also taught choir students, and I taught private piano and string students on the side. Read More

I began coaching younger string students before I was even out of high school and taught my first private violin lessons while I was finishing my degree. After college, I played the violin with a Beatles Tribute Band called Number 9 and I also regularly played on violin and viola in the pit orchestra for the Augusta Players, Augusta's premier professional theatre company. I taught for seven years in the Richmond County Public Schools, two as a choral director, and five of which were with the Orchestra Program. Read More

Each success is worth celebrating and the way to get there is by setting realistic goals. I always offer yearly recitals for any students who would enjoy being a part of them.
