I primarily use the Essential Elements String Method or Piano Adventures books to start beginners on violin, viola, cello, and piano, with a focus on note reading and scales, as well as playing by ear. If you have started on a different method book, I am happy to keep you on track with your progress. I am classically trained, but as you can see, I enjoy playing classical, musical theatre, post-modern, and rock 'n' roll, so I encourage learning the basics and quickly incorporating the music YOU want to play, as you develop your technique. I'm a music education major that graduated from Mansfield University in 2016. As a performing musician, I have had the opportunity to perform some of the most demanding pieces for piano solo, as well as collaborative music.
